The theme for this years Congress is getting to the 'Heart' of prevention & management. In keeping with the theme we have established a program that includes an afternoon of dynamic workshops for the hands-on practitioner, an evening speaker addressing population health issues and a full day of plenary sessions that covers forward thinking topics while introducing new concepts and enhancing knowledge exchange.

To take the theme one step further we have decided to 'marry' acute care and chronic disease philosophies. The 'Congress' welcomes the
Canadian Council of Cardiovascular Nurses (CCCN) who will hold simultaneous plenary sessions on Friday May 14, 2010. CCCN members will also have an opportunity to attend the chronic disease workshops and evening session on Thursday May 13, 2010. What better way to enhance care of our patients and clients along one continuum!
